Curaçao Maritime Association & Holland House Colombia join forces.

CMAR (Curacao Maritime Association) & HHC (Holland House Colombia) enter into a partnership and by doing this they offer a platform for international companies to connect between the maritime sector of Curacao and the Dutch-Colombian business network in Colombia.

Both parties would like to encourage their respective members to reach out and connect in order to develop and strengthen the international trade between both networks.

Parties have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on Thursday 29 July 2021 to invigorate these goals and objectives.

With this MOU it will be possible for the members of each respective network to attend to public events, conferences, exhibitions, workshops at member’s rate. Members can be introduced to each party’s board, who will guide and direct them through the network of the partner, as per their specific needs.

On top of that, both parties have declared willingness to share information which is appropriate and useful for further orientation or a potential visit.

The cooperation is a starting point for both parties to further explore the markets and further build on each other’s experience. Thus, the partnership shall further develop to grow.

The cooperation does not charge expenses for any exchange of information or experience.

HHC is the bridge that connects companies and organizations between Colombia and the Kingdom of the Netherlands with the purpose to increase and provide an impulse to international entrepreneurship between countries. HHC is a strategic alliance for companies that would like to develop business relations and make investments in Colombia, Caribbean area and Europe. CMAR is the only Curacao maritime association and it represents the maritime network in Curacao. CMAR has been founded in 2020 and has already over 40 members. CMAR members consist of port and shipping agents, maritime service providers, port contractors, training institutions, shipping lines, charterers, tug company and a ship repair yard.
