Dear members of CMAR, In the Amigoe dated 11 September, an article was published, in which was mentioned that Lodewijk Franken would step down from CMAR board. This statement is incorrect. Mr. Franken is a maritime professional with a broad network and experience in the Curacao maritime sector, which he used for the benefit of the sector. In that context, he will continue to be vice president of the CMAR board and provide support to the maritime sector of Curacao, to grow and develop and become a stronger sector.

CMAR (Curacao Maritime Association) & HHC (Holland House Colombia) enter into a partnership and by doing this they offer a platform for international companies to connect between the maritime sector of Curacao and the Dutch-Colombian business network in Colombia. Both parties would like to encourage their respective members to reach out and connect in order to develop and strengthen the international trade between both networks.

The Board of CMAR is pleased to announce our first AGM & reception. The AGM is a members only event on 16 september 2021, followed by a cocktail reception for members and invited guest. We will keep you updated with more news.

CMAR singed MOU with CMTA "Curacao Maritime Trading Association". This MOU is intended to strengthen links between CMTA & CMAR and also a platform to build relationships between the partners and their members, we can also learn from each other about issues of policy and trade development.
